I got 10 lp points while I had a win streak, first time i’ve Gotten 10 lp

So I was with my duo partner who dropped from g5 to s2 , we won 5 out of 5 games in a row in our games together, he’s currently on a 9 game win streak and 7 for me. We gained a normal amount of lp (ex 20-21lp) on our wins. But on our fifth game together which we won..... we both got 10 lp?????? Did we get low lp cuz of too much duo games???? I am confused, just need explanation cuz I need to know if I can play more duo games.

Your hidden (bullshit) MMR is probably bad, and win-streaks grant less and less LP as you go along. It also pairs you against higher-leveled opponents, while subsequently putting you on teams that are on loss-streaks (basically flamers and rage-quitters, but riot doesn't want you to know that)
