M7 tokens disappear, (still got the M7 though).

So after I played 2 games of Evelynn and got qualified for the M7 tokens on both games, I decided to combine them with my Eve shard and they just disappeared, yeah sometimes it takes a bit for stuff to load on my loot even thought my client barely lags or does things like, bugsplat, not lock in champs etc, but this time it didn't come at all and still showed me as M6. Thankfully it updated when I logged back in and showed me having M7, is this a visual bug or something? Really made me concerned for a sec.
