Since 6.6 I heard from almost every player using a mac, that he has the same issues with the in game sound and FPS drops in team fights as me, how can Riot still does not react to the problem. The game is unplayable at the moment with a Mac and turning off the sound in game is not a solution, since playing with no sound is not even half the fun. Please Riot, do something
The team is still actively working to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA for a fix.
UPDATE: There is a potential fix, it's in the process of being tested/verified. Again, no promised ETA. Again, just the messenger here, so I don't have much additional info to share.

Was hoping for a fix in 6.7 as well. Playing without sound is rather difficult at times. Any chance we might see a hotfix soon?

I'm not gonna shoot the messenger, I know this isn't KateyKhaos' fault, but seriously Riot has to keep us updated, this issue has been going on for upwards of a month, with the only solution being to turn off all sound. Sound is an essential part of this game and turning it off shouldn't be considered a fix.

I'm pretty sure Riot is working on it. In the meantime I'll give you this step by step tutorial. Step 1. Turn of your iMac Step 2. THROW THAT PIECE OF GARBAGE OF A CLIFF Step 3. Burn everything that came with it, get rid of all evidence Step 4. Build a PC Step 5. Download league Step 6. Enjoy!

Still not working. I assume riot knows its still not working and that fps lag and sound issues are killing the game for mac users. Any new info?

Please try to resolve this issue before patch 6.9 I have not been able to play with sound since 6.6 with no clear answer of when this will fixed. Windows people aren't the only lol players please put forth a little bit more effort it's been 2 patches since the sound bug and nothing has been done!!!!
Real talk this needs to be fixed asap. I have been playing like this for the past month and it is just frustrating. you have players straying away from playing the game because of this issue specific for macs
Hey, I don't want to join the bandwagon and toss crap towards Riot for not having a solution to this issue, however I do feel that it is your guys job as a corporation to keep Mac users in the loop to the status of the problem, not daily but at least once a week. Six weeks is an absurd amount of time for a fix and you guys should at least try and make an effort to try and understand where we are coming from. I have personally supported riot over the years buy buying in game skins and supporting the game, but at this time I am feeling abandoned. Thanks for taking the time to read my response.

i have also all these FPS drops due to sound bugs but i have also graphic bugs which never been fixed ex : Malazhar's Skills , Brand's Skills, Guardian angel, 5th drake buff Have you those bugs too ? Thanks for the attention Riot :)
I'm anxious to see this issue resolved... My game was running fine on my MacBook Pro until the 6.6 patch. I have lowered all my graphics settings and have seen less issues, but it's still not close to being back to normal. I also turned off the in game music. I feel that turning all sound off puts me at risk for missing vital team communication.
