Getting removed from queue during champion select before time is up

It happened twice after patch 5.11 was released. I was in a champion selection in Classic Draft Mode and I had 10 secs left before I choose a champion. I was discussing the lanes with team mates and suddenly I got removed because of the champion selection failure. However, after being removed, the sound of the timer was still up counting down. I do not know how to reproduce the bug and record into video, but the problem above is exactly what happened. Can it be because of the internet connection? I do not have issues with connection I think. My games are always in 77 ping and smooth.
