League Client - Not Responding

When I first login to the client and try to click on anything the league client will stop responding (see attachment). After it comes back, it will randomly not respond again and just freeze up when I'm trying to click on friends or what not. Eventually it stops but it always comes back and happens randomly.

I don't know why or what is making the client respond that way but it's definitely starting to get really annoying.
