Match ends but can't start another one because it says needs to reconnect

On 3v3 twisted treeline. Game started very laggy, like extremely laggy with no movements on screen. So we lose a player, its now 3 v 2. Connection eventually comes back around 10 min into it and after a 60 or so min long battle we carry the day. Match ends, there is no history of it, and also it says that we are still connected to a game. We have tried restarting lol multiple times, but we fall back on reconnect screen, which when clicked on just goes black and thats it. Which is pretty normal being that the game is over. Any assistance would be welcomed, because we would enjoy a game!!!!!!!!!!
