OS X Yosemite not compatible with LoL? (PLEASE HELP)

I've always ran on OS X Mountain Lion and never had any problems except for occasionally crashes and lags. After updating to OS X Yosemite recently however, my game would always freeze at the area for EVERY SINGLE GAME where Champion Select ends and the loading screen would appear. My launcher just freezes at Champion Select and I would have to force quit and reconnect. Therefore, I'm always behind everyone, for example, when I'm in game everyone is around Level 6 and I am at Level 1. This is a MASSIVE blow to my gaming life. How am I even supposed to play Ranked in this condition? If anyone has the same problem or knows how to solve this please help! It would be really appreciated! :)

I'm currently running LoL on Yosemite no problem. It may be your internet connection or something with your specfic computer. I'd recommend sending a support ticket to riot.

I have this exact same issue, I don't know what it is, my internet connection has always been able to launch game and hasn't given me this problem until this patch. I've repaired and reinstalled several times to no avail. Tell me if you find an answer.
