Mac Book freezes during champ select after alt-tab (command tab)

Hi, I usually like to check up on champselect or LoLking/LolNexus while picking for roles I don't usually play.

Lately, when I command tab out of the client to read up on who I'm up against, when I command tab back in, the countdown stops at 0, but no further champs are picked. I know this is just happening to me because I can still chat/read chat, but I am unable to see further picks or pick a champion myself if I haven't picked yet (usually the case since I'm reading up on who to pick)

Biggest concern is that during ranked I get dinged with -3Lp/5minute queue removal because I was unable to pick a champ. Anyone else having this issue?

This won't fix the bug, but if you play in borderless mode (with resolution set to max), you can swipe via the gestures to use any of your other apps. Just click the right client button to view the game again.

This has also happened when I start a game even without alt tab now. Not too often but still once every two or three days.
