Error 183 - Failure to Create Dump File. Ongoing issue for at least a year, Riot help!

Hey there. Myself and my room mate have both had an issue with a usually once per game Error 183 crash, which as you can imagine is extremely annoying and often detrimental if it happens before a team fight or in lane, allowing the opponent an unfair and through no fault of our own advantage. I've mostly isolated this crash to the jungle, often when going to last hit smite a big creep. Most often on the Golems, however it's happened in literally every jungle camp. It will happen in lane but more periodically and more seemingly random then in the jungle.

Upon searching for this issue, I've found COUNTLESS threads but very little (to none) Riot influence or input on them. That is disheartening for other reasons, but hopefully with the new boards I can get some help or at least an explanation (and maybe some troubleshooting tips!)

Please, Riot. I am a long-time fan of your game but this issue can't go unnoticed!
