Problems with entering game

I am logged in, connected to network, and can get as far as champion select, but the moment the countdown has finished, the second window for the actual game doesn't appear. is there some kind of virus on my computer only, or is it a widespread problem? It just sends me a reconnect screen on the client (I think that's what i call that), but my computer is connected to the router via network cable

Also, there is a virus that appeared maybe a week ago that supposedly came from one of the league of legends folders, where can i find this and delete it, an why is it there in the first place?

Note - I also tried opening a practice and custom game, but it just directs me to the "reconnect" screen like it does on the actual games.

Same here buddy. Seems like it's an issue with the client, not your computer. I'm also having problems queuing in 5ghz. Not sure why.
