Katarina q not casting

When i was playing katarina, around the 25th minute q became unusable. When i cast it (tried it with quickcast, normal hotkey cast, and clicking the icon too) the champ would move into cast range, then do nothing. Also noticed the targetting cursor was orange instead of the usual red when hovering over enemies, so the cause was probably that it didnt register the targets as targetable by the ability. Reconnecting didn't help.
