Ranked Champion Select leads to -3 LP

Hi, I was in a ranked champion select and I was looking at my mastery pages while I was waiting my turn to ban a champion. Someone from the enemy team had run the timer and "dodged" the champion select but I realized I was still looking at my mastery pages- behind them the champion select. I thought it was a weird bug but when I signed in and looked at my profile to change the mastery page I previously was going to I noticed my LP was at -3. Before I noticed I had to quit the client and re-log, the champion select wouldn't go away and the timer was at 0. I didn't get a screen shot though now I should have but it was that everyone on my team had left and none were responding to the chat so I assumed I just got to see a bug. I was at 0 LP before and it doesn't really startle me that it is at -3 LP but if it counted as a loss, it kind of worries me then. EDIT: Greetings!
