[GAMEPLAY] Attack Move on Cursor is Bugged

I've noticed since patch 5.22 the attack move on cursor was feeling "off". So I went into a custom game to test it. If you use attack move near a minions out of auto attack range, it will automatically attack the closest thing to you instead. However, if you are within auto attack range then it does attack the minion closest to the cursor. What it should do is run past everything to attack what's closest to your cursor (this is what it used to do before patch 5.22).

Steps to reproduce bug:

  1. Try to attack move near cursor a caster minion outside your AA range.
  2. If you have a melee minion between you and the caster minion, it will auto attack that instead of the caster minion

This bug is 100% repeatable and annoying in team fights and CSing because I am used to actually attacking what is nearest to my cursor.

Do you have "Attack Move near cursor" enabled? Normally attack move will attack the target closest to you no matter where your cursor is and move to your cursor until something is in range, but there is an option switch between that and having attack move attack the closest thing to your cursor.

EDIT: Derp I just watched the video. Have you tried turning it off, hitting ok, and turning it on again?

This bug is the biggest source of mistakes for me in the game right now. The description of the "Attack move on cursor" option specifically states: "Enabled: Attack move will prioritize the target closest to your mouse click" which the OP clearly shows as not being the case.

Either this is a bug, or the description on the option is the bug. 100% of the time I intend for my champion to move and attack the enemy closest to my click (regardless of how far I click away from the target). OP notes that this showed up in 5.22 leaving me to believe that it worked as expected before 5.22 but we can't test to confirm.

I did some testing of my own and found that the option gives a 1-2 Teemo radius around the target that when clicked within will result in the desired behavior. This leads me to believe that the game is working as intended by Riot, however not intended by myself or OP. The option should specify the radius length, or preferably the game should work as the gamer (me, OP) intends and as the current description reads.
