Yasuo did block dmg with the shield, but cc should give assist/kill vs tower in this case.

Root is clearly a debuff.

I thought that was because they all deal 1 true damage and that's why they give assists?
Deprivation1 votesDid a few tests in custom... Lux bind, elise root, veigar wall all give assists in the same situation as seen in the video. ALL the damage went in the yasuo passive shield, yet the kill was still given to the champ, NOT tower. Edit: Zyra root also doesn't give assist.

I know, but the system should be consistent across all champs and all spells - You can't say ok some roots give and some don't give you an assist tag... That's just stupid especially in cases where the ability has the same effect with just a visual revamp.

Deprivation1 votesAditional info: Original "bug": Neeko e on yasuo with passive = execute / Neeko e on other champs with shield (tested with lux) = kill. In both cases all the dmg was soaked up by the shield.
Explain that?
