Client downloaded small patch 1/6/2019, lag 1-3FPS every 3 seconds and no sound but ping stable

So when I opened my league client today, it downloaded a really patch or whatever and the whole process took less than a minute but when I went into a game, my fps keep dropping to 1-3FPS every 3 seconds consistently and there was no sound. However my ping was stable and normal.

Anyone else have the same problem? I'm doing a client repair as I type so hopefully that fixes it and if it does/n't I will follow up
