Bug (in my opinion) occurs every time when you're trying to jump over things as Tristana (Champions with similar ability). If this is more of a developers choice than an actual bug I'm sorry for taking your time. The game has three dimensions, right? So my question is - Why am I affected by a trap that's on the ground while flying above it?
P.s. I'm sorry about the vulgar words in the video. I took the clip out of a stream.

Nope, this game only has two dimensions. There is no height or "z-axis" in this game. Any "jump" abilities, like Tristana's or Kha'Zix's, are coded exactly like dashes. The jump itself is purely visual.

Chamuel851 votesif you want to get into that, how do your bullets go through walls and track people? If you want real world, go entire with it. You are a tiny person holding a cannon at your hip. That'd shatter bones, and toss itself out of your hands when you fire.

TheLastShadow451 votesThis is not a bug. All the jump does for you is either get you closer or further away from someone and jump over terrain. Other than that the League plain in linear. Meaning jumping doesn't truly make you air born, it's just visual and your hitbox is still on the ground.
iEatVirginz1 votesWell I find your answers very on spot. Tho shouldn't abilities be adjusted a bit? Doesn't lil' things like things one pisses you off? I bet they did few or more times. Movement of units/champions shouldn't be able to cross terrain's obstacles, but god DAMN abilities should do a lot more.. I'm not talking about making the game realistic or something like that. But abilities should work well with one another. To every action there should be a reaction. At least the most visible ones. I'm not talking about "Nami extinguishing ignite" .. I'm talking about jumping over traps, walls. Like Camilla can grab Anivia's wall and jump of it. Yasuo can use his ultimate on any "flying" champion. Hell, even on tristana if she jumps.. Think about it, how there's more room for improvement, making the game, champion's abilities more interactive. I hope some of you will understand about what I'm talking about. Sorry for my engrish and my language barrier.
DrCyanide1 votesIt'd require a lot of effort to alter all the animations and abilities for very little gain. Anivia and Kayle would have to walk everywhere to avoid confusion with "Airborne", and unless you wanted Yasuo to ult you mid dash all jumps would have to be flat across the ground, which would then mean no dashes could go over walls... You get the idea.
So no, it's far easier to understand that the visuals are just visuals, and you don't actually jump "over" anything.
