[Gameplay] Kled Bug?

So, I have encountered this twice now. Later in games, Kled appears to have a unique feature to gain 5 max health on a unit kill. I have replicated this three separate times, and it only occurs after you have purchased a health item. Once it reaches a certain point, you no longer gain the hp, which leads me to believe not all hp is being added to Skaarl's health bar when you purchase a health item.
