"Unable to Connect to Authentication Service"

So i just started having this problem today- i haven't been on all day and when i go to log in, even though im using the right password it says that it cant connect to the authentication service? I've never had this problem before and i have no idea whats causing it. Everything says its fine and working, but for some reason i can't log in?
