Nemesis champion select bug?

Was going to start a game with my wife. Got into champ select. Captains do bans. It gets to be my wife's turn to pick a champ for the enemy. She's all of 5 seconds into the pick window, and it dumps us out of the champ select saying that she 'failed to select a champ'. Now, we have a wait time of 2 hours before we can start another game (she was about to start one when I got home, but dodged to play with me)...

WTF? This really sucks! Our evening plans just went out the window...

Anyone else having this problem?
