The real downfall began when they hired Ghostcrawler to run things. It's funny that the big bosses at RIOT don't understand that. Greed makes you blind.

Because they don't. The RIOT support answered me with "update your BIOS" when the manufacturer ceased supporting my motherboard in 2012. But it's obviously my problem, it's not like monsters such as DOOM, Quake Champions somehow run without requiring something special and non-existing.
