Sign in Issues since "Riot accounts"

Since league asked me to change my old account into_** riot account**_, it wouldn't let me sign in it. Emails for account support are still not working 2 months after I first tried changing my username, password etc. I don't like the idea of smurfing but I was forced to create new accounts just to enjoy some rank ladder experience with friends.

It's not a big deal for me, but it's really interesting how come a company of this level allow such a problem to exist for so long. It's literally top priority problem, dragon level threat, the game is unplayable because I can't play it, literally.
