Infuriating ranked TFT bug

Two games ago I placed first while in gold 1 at 94 LP and I gained nothing, still gold 1 94 LP. Figured hey, maybe ranked gains are just currently disabled so I played another. Got 7th and dropped down to gold 1 50 LP...... Seriously? Why would I even still play ranked if getting first nets you no rewards but placing low still plummets my lp?
