Smart Ping Not Working

For some reason I'm unable to use smart pings anymore - whenever I bring up the wheel, I can only hit "Assist Me" - I'm unable to select any of the other options. Is anyone else experiencing this/know of a solution? It's a huge issue when I'm not playing with friends! :s
