Shaco: spellthief's edge gold proc

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but since Shaco's update his boxes no longer proc Spellthief's edge. It used to give you gold when it hit an enemy champion if you had charges left, though now it doesn't proc at all. It's kinda annoying seeing how your gold income switches mostly to your shiv seeing how the cool down on your q was increased. Over all it's just lowered his income when playing support with him.
