rammus w not damaging heimerdinger turrents [gameplay]

i had a game today where i was fighting a heimerdinger with a rammus and when i press my w his turrents would hit me with their basic attacks and not take damage. i am unable to tell if it is a bug or a advantage that heimerdinger has on rammus. if it is not a bug will you please fix this so rammus stands a chance against heim?
