Game Started, No Characters Showed Up

I just got out of a game where it started up and the map loaded, but none of the champions ever appeared (for me). I could send and receive chats as well. Eventually the game was remade (I even got to vote to remake), but I lost LP and am in the low priority queue now. I've never had this happen before, so it may have just been a fluke, but I would appreciate it if a rioter could get me out of the low priority queue.
