Galio Bug. ulti only works in the spawn

Recently when i have played galio in all random my ulti would not go off anywhere but the spawn. I have tried clicking on it while i was in the middle of the map durring the team fight, it would not go off, so i thought that it might be a visual bug showing me that I have an ability ready but its actually on cd. When i waited for a couple of minutes I tried it again and it would not go off while in team fights. I have tried it then at the spawn. It went off
