I was in game and I was wondering why my game sound was off so when I try to cut back on it crashed my game and now I'm constantly getting bug splats :( HURRY AND FIX IT (btw since i d/c from a game im going to get lpq Awesome even though it isnt my fault 
I have the same issue, mine only happens when my headset is plugged into the computer and the game sound is going through it. I "fixed" it by reconnecting without it plugged in, then I was able to disable sound so I can play the game. But I am yet to find out how to turn sound back on without it crashing. Razer headset if that makes any difference.
