My game has been freezing at various points in the match since I installed patch 8.6. It occurs when I:
Same problem, the game is literally unplayable for me, the bug wastes more than half the time I use to think about jungle pathing in loading screen and I can't even alt tab to use op.gg as an alternative until it fixes itself, I then get in game not knowing what buff to start or where to gank/countergank and press P to open the shop and it freezes again well over the 15 second mark, I basically have to facecheck my entire jungle and because I'm a Shaco onetrick I can miss 2-3 box placements which ends up in me having a super slow clear with a lot of wasted HP and no pots.
i3 6100 - RX 460, shouldn't have any trouble whatsoever playing the game.
Fixing this should be top priority.
**EDIT: It seems that Bitdefender is causing problems with League, fix is to add the Riot games folder to your exclusion list, props to /u/Corva7 and Riot Support for resolving the problem. **
Opening the shop freezes for about 5-10 seconds, hitting esc about 15-20, Victory/Defeat screen about 2 minutes. Borderless/fullscreen/windowed no changes
I am having the same issue. Takes me a long time to load in and open the item shop. Changing anything in the options menu will crash my game. Attempting to reconnect then basically lags everyone out of the game. I am also unable to move after reconnecting. I am basically able to DDOS people....
w0w. Same here. I am seeing nothing useful in relation to this issue. I play borderless. Since patch my game freezes at beginning of nexus destruction animation or when I open settings pressing esc. My pc is not high end, just normal, it takes like a minute or 2 for victory or defeat to even show in screen for me.
Same here. 1.5 year old computer not seeing issues in other games. Happens when bringing up ESC hotkey menu as well, when opening the item shop itself, when switching tabs in the item shop, and when clicking on/buying an item.

Same here. I had to reset my computer today because it completely locked up in the middle of a game.
I've never had a problem until the latest patch. My PC is mid-high end, too.
I checked everything I could, followed all the classic troubleshoot solutions like repairing, uninstalling > restarting > disk cleanup > reinstall, checking compatibility modes and running in compatibility mode. and turning off random settings and trying lower resolutions. I also did a RAM check, 2 different antivirus scans, Hard Drive checks, and defragged, and scanned my registry for missing files. After all that I STILL have the problem so it has to be on their side. It's not even like my computer is slow I have a AMD FX 8320 OC'd to 4.00GHz, 16 GB of G.Skill DDR3 RAM with hyper threading and OC'd, GTX 960 4 GB OC'd, and a Crucial SSD that at the time (a year or so ago) PC magazine said was the best for gaming. I'm literally out of idea and I'm just sitting and waiting for a patch to fix the problem.
I've been having issues like this for weeks now and riot hasn't said a thing. I was hoping this newest patch would solve the issues but nope still happening although its a little less frequent
Having the exact same thing happening on this patch, reset my whole PC, cause all i have is league on here, re downloaded the game and its still doing it. Very annoying tbh
I have only experienced the game freezing slightly when I get killed (champions without revives 
) and when the game ends, nexus blows up most specifically. I run league with the client off in the background.
Disabling "Memory integrity" in Windows 10 solved this issue for me.
