Summoners Rift Keyboard Load-up Problems

There have been two times where i have connected to a game and none of my keys do what they're bound to. Then, if you try to rebind keys, you wont be able to bind them to anything at all. The only way that i knew how to fix this, was straight up logging out of the client and then logging back in to reconnect to the game. Super bad since i was always 7 minutes late to the fight. To be clear, nothing is wrong with my keyboard. I was able to type in chat and ctrl+(ability) to level up an ability.
