Every time I alert ping, my screen turns green and purple

I just recently upgraded my monitor from a 10 year old LCD to a 4k display. I've gotten used to most of the sizing issues with the HUD and they don't bother me but one thing that still happens is every time I alert ping, the games resolution gets messed up to the point where I can only see 1/4th of the screen and it turns green and purple.

It also happens 100% of the time when I try to spectate a game, even if I don't ping the screen resolution and colors mess up within 2-3 seconds of starting the spectate.

If I never ping anything at all, the game works fine, but as soon as I ping my adc to fall back, the game gets jacked up and I have to alt tab out to reset the resolution. This causes 3-5 seconds or longer of me sitting with my thumb up my bum while I wait for the game to come back into focus. I tried lowering the resolution, but unless I also lower it in my PC control panel as well it won't fix the issue.

This issue is 100% repeatable, happens every time i ping an alert in the game without fail.

Might I add that the game looks amazing when it's not green and purple on this screen. And I'd rather not have to adjust my PC resolution settings every time I open the game. Any known ways to fix this issue?

Same here. Anytime I hit a key on my keyboard and click a mouse button, my screen briefly loses resolution and turns green. GTX1080 and a 40" Samsung 4K TV monitor.

same thing is happening to me. I have an lg 43" lg 4k tv and im using a gtx 1060 and it would close my game whenever i would ping but i updated my drivers again and now all that happens is my screen zooms in and it goes green. my only guess is that it happens with 4k tvs for some reason? would love some help dorito since im guessing we've spent a lot time playing your game and would love to continue to play it

Same happens to me, GTX 960 and samsung 4k TV... i belive it's the nvidia driver because on time my driver installed incorrectly the update and windows was with the same zoom and colors

I had the same problem on my 4k tv with my GTX 1080, I fixed it by changing the frame cap. I don't know if that will help but it's worth a shot

So I was having same issue with league green screen when try to ping i play shop lot time so can't have that my answer I found is that I was to set my video setting in game boarderless hope this helps

Similar issue and just upgraded to a 4k monitor using hdr and gsync every time I ping my screen lags then goes straight black (almost looks like I accidentally alt tabbed put and back again) I did not. Anyhow every time I ping the map this happens, I can see pings go problem but when I do an actual ping black screen for 5 ish seconds 100 percent of the time
