i dont ever get key fragments

i have played a good number of games 25-30 and have not got one key fragment is my account glitched or am i just the most unluckiest person ever

The drop rate doesn't seem to have refreshed for me when it became May.

Its different for each person based on when they play. For me it's the week before a month ends, for my brother it's the second weekend in each month.
You'll get like 3 in a row at that time for wins so write it down when you find it and try to plan accordingly for next month.

I think it makes sense that there's a limiting factor like that, but why would they give like four chests a month, and three key fragments a month? That will inevitably leave people with a surplus of chests.

That's not what I meant XD I meant that every so often you should "fish" for the sweet spot in the month until you find it and then write it down. 3 games is a good enough test to know if you're in said sweet spot. You'll get keys in at least 2/3 of the games if you are.

Ah, that's fair. But I don't think I've ever had that happen where in a certain time of the month, I have received more than 3-5 keys. I probably get 8 or so over the course of a full month, although my memory might be skewing pretty hard. Honestly, I have no idea now. I'm not going to pretend I have any idea how the mechanics behind key distribution work.
