Yasuo's Wind Wall not stopping Ahri's speed boost from Q

I don't know if this is intentional or not but it's kinda irritating and unclear. When playing as Yasuo today I noticed that if I block Ahri's Q with Wind Wall she still receives her movement speed boost. I think that's kinda annoying since the ability says: "While the orb is travelling, Ahri gains 215 bonus movement speed," not: "When the ability is activated Ahri gets 215 bonus movement speed even if the orb is destroyed." I assume this happens with Braum's shield as well but have not tested. It just seems like it takes a bit of the counter play out of facing Ahri even if she is already kind of countered by Yasuo, it makes her harder to stick to if you block the orb and think you can catch her but she just runs away without the orb.
