Kayle Self-Heal causes her to reverse direction

I have SHIFT+W smart casted to heal myself, but often (usually when I'm trying to escape) executing a self-heal causes Kayle to turn around and head towards her pursuers. Obviously this is suboptimal.

I read another similar bug report from 2011 (!) where the person reported that Kayle turns around to fight anyone who is within attack range, so maybe it has something do with having enemies in auto-attack range (although it seems to happen sometimes when my E isn't active either).

This has been a bug for at least a couple of years now.
