Game perishing?

I was in a game as Lux and it was going fine with no lag until the "Attempting to Reconnect" sign came up. I thought it would pass in a couple of seconds as regular lag, but it took too long. I closed the client in thought of relaunching it, but when i did i wasn't put back into the game like i usually did, the game never existed, it was like i never entered that game, it was not in my match history and it was not done yet. (Pre-20 minutes, so no chance of surrendering was open)
