"Game still in progress" but no reconnect button

The game crashed like it always does. (shame on you, Riot)

But this time, I am seeing "Game still in Progress" and there is no reconnect button.

I can't even reconnect. What the hell am I supposed to do?

you lose me lp, and you're prolly gonna give me penalty afking? lol

riot seriously. this is 2017. Your game is now what 7 years old? and you can't even keep a game alive?

The game crashes and now I can't even reopen the client?

I have million other programs that work just fine. league client is the only thing that I ever have issues with.

I found it out go into task manager click league of legends 32 bit right click into more details go to league of legends.exe and end process

Had this issue (which is apparently still a thing after two years) in a TFT ranked game. Finished 7th. Lost 43 LP. I feel great..

The game client starts "idle (using 0% CPU resources)" - for some reason. To restart it - you have to go with the good old Ctrl +Shift + ESC (which opens Task manager) close it ("End task" by right clicking the game client - as other mentioned above) - then you'll get the option to "reconnect" again.

came back to rift yesterday. No problems played the whole night...

today second match I got this bug right now. I tried the taskmanager-trick but I still don't have a reconn. button...

maybe a sign and I shouldn't pick up league again.

It's 2019, they still havent fixed it, i've got a leaverbuster because 2 games in a row this exact same bullshit happened to me, i even send them an explanation how did that happen, they ofc did not do anything. RITO I will NOT wait be4 5 games because YOUR GAME DOESN'T WORK...

Even now in 2019 i face this exact problem. They will never fix this stuff cuz why should they....
