East Coast lag makes ranked and normals unplayable tonight.
Up here in Canada on the eastern seaboard, been in 2-3 matches today where my ping shows a healthy 48ms, but it doesn't play like that. NOT AT ALL. it's been hiccupy at best with much rubber banding. feels like a 350ms game honestly.
this is not normal. not with a 50mb/s DL & 10Mb/s UL rate. (not bad for streaming, but I don't stream)
I even used the hextech repair tool, and it still is happening.
I've done everything I could possibly fuXXing do. I even checked with my american friends to see if they were having issues...only the one from Minnesota was getting the same lag /w rubberbanding.
BUT when I do a pingtest to Riot's NA server...it cuts out one hop or two from their Toronto server.
Is anyone else getting this too? it's really fuXXing up my weekend gaming. Riot, I trust you guys to have solutions, this is very depressing.
your only solutions are:
A) My system is broken (nope, brand new computer!) or something on MY end is corrupt. (riot=blameless)
B) Turn off background apps and such (I boot clean, only things going are the main w10 system, my video driver and sound driver.)
C) The internet is bad, try later on. (again, Riot=blameless)
D) We got no fucking clue...so have a copy paste answer from our robots. (Riot refuses to accept responsibility and dodges)
My other games are running PERFECTLY. no lag, 35-48ms ping times. Runescape, CS:GO, Team Fortress, WoW, even Dead frontier (which is usually 75ms, runs smoothly!)
Your poor client has me tilting harder than Don fucking Quixote on acid in a field of windmills.
