[GAMEPLAY] Reconnected to game whilst playing as Shen and could not leave base

I reconnected to a game whilst playing Shen and could not leave the base. It was like the spawn restriction was still applied to me. When I teleported to the top outer turret and tried to move it made to move back to base. This is the first time this has occurred to me. I play on a mac mini.
