Ban Glitch?

I logged in on my Fattei summoner today and could not create a lobby, as all options were grayed out (I had also recieved no pop-up or other notification regarding being banned). My duo partner invited me to a ranked solo/duo lobby, yet was unable to "find match" because I had a little icon on my summoner indicating that I was banned. I restarted my client, but was still unable to create a lobby or find a match. We then played a custom game, which I was able to join and play in. I restarted my client again, and the issue seems to have been fixed since.

Bizarre.
