I am playing Lux and i go to 'Q' J4 and he can still either jump on me with his ult, or dash to his standard after my Q has hit him. This is broken as hell. He can't be rooted. It literally just lost us the match.
its because his ult is targeted, once the animation for a targeted ability it will follow through regardless of being rooted.
Using his ultimate while snared is probably a bug (though the snare may have just hit him after he started his cast animation).
However, Jarvan being able to drag himself to his flag while rooted is intentional.
Roots/stuns and other non-displacing CC are applied at the end of dashes. It is annoying.
I once played ahri vs AP jarvan, it was educational, to say the least. He was incredibly annoying even while feeding.
His ult is unstoppable. He might be casting it in response to you casting your snare (there is a recognizable animation to it)
You can't root almost any jump mid animation. (Except Aatrox's Jump, cause Rito hates Aatrox)
