Whats up with all the dcs the past few days?
4 or 5 games in a row I've had 2 to 3 people not connected and afk in fountain. It's not fun..

Same. Every match has at least 1 dc on a team...I refuse to do any ranked in this because it's no longer about skill but the chance of which team has the dc/more dcs.
The biggest issue is that the issue is known by Riot (see the Service Status) yet they don't even have a warning in the client anymore. Users don't know if the issue is still occurring until they go to play. Secondly, they know there are widespread, inconsistent connection issues on their end so they should have Loss Prevented activated and ranked disabled until it is fixed. Just because it's not affecting all users and has been going on days is not a good reason to punish players who play ranked or are caught by LeaverBuster for issues that known to be likely to be on their end.
I think it's the firewall error thing, probs shouldn't be doing provisionals right now, too late to stop i guess :/
more or like the past few weeks? The last two patches the number of 5v4s in ranked is near the 30% mark in my estimation.
In addition to the firewall problem, I think it also has to do with all the additional traffic from people who can now play more after school's out. From the several disconnects that I have recently experienced, all are characteristic of server overload.
Ive had a dc/leaver in 6 of my last 8.
I've been experiencing what I believe is some version of this. "Attempting to reconnect" frequently occurs during the game, or the game will time out during load in. I connect to menu, chat fine. But once I'm in game, dc's come periodically. Makes it so I can't play the game effectively, or I'll get banned by leaver buster and my ranking will go to crap.
I looked into supposed firewall issues/fixes, when deep into advanced settings and made sure to enable all inbound league of legends stuff, still no solution. Very aggravating.
This issue is new to 4.21 for me, never had trouble connecting/staying on for an entire game (other than when Riot's servers go down entirely, etc.).
Yeah, firewall Error bug. Me and my support both DC'd from a match with friends (Mind you the support was a random as we were a premade 4.) Soooo yeah, game's broken right now.
