The post says that the icon should, "Unlock for your account when you send any gift by 1/9/2017 at 23:59 PT." I bought my friend an icon just so I could get this icon. I checked my gifting history and it says that my friend got it (after messaging him, he said he did). Then I look through my other icons and the scuttler one hasn't shown up.
It doesn't show up right away. All of those things can take a few days to two weeks to arrive on your account.
NOT A BUG.
Icons always clearly say to allow two weeks to be added.
guys where is this icon does any1 actually have it..i gifted a friend on Xmax and still nothing
I was wondering what was happening as well (I forgot it takes a few days sometimes, until I read that below). Thought I would add a note, that apparently they don't consider RP a gift. Even though they say "any gift", which I considered anything that you use the gift center for. I sent RP to someone and checked around a bit after I didn't get it. Someone posted that they wrote to Riot and they don't consider RP as "content". Just a note for anyone that might come across this thread.
Yeah I sent a mystery gift as well today. That counts as any gift right ?
I got the Default Scuttler Icon after i sent Mystery Skins so I was wondering if Mystery Skins count as a gift

its almost been a month wheres my icon riot...
I gave my friend a mystery gift and he received it (this was during the event) also others have I have not gotten my icon yet.
I gifted 3 mystery gifts on the 14th of December and gifted another skin on the 30th, but i still haven't received anything either 
I did the same but I gifted a mystery skin and I still didn't get the icon.
