Clash not letting me verify phone number

I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong, I meet all the requirements to form a team, I have a ticket but I can't seem to verify my phone number through SMS, I've tried all the ways that seem obvious like putting the area code into the "+xx" box and my phone number in the other box, the whole number including the area code into the main box, and leaving the area code omitted entirely (this one obviously wasn't going to work but i didn't know what else to try) regardless it keeps saying my number is invalid, what am I doing wrong????

I'm having the same issue, not being in the US is the only thing I can think of rn.

You don’t put your area code in the first box What country are u from Canada and USA # is 1 You write 1 in the first box and your whole phone number with your area code in the main box

i done everything properly , and it still doesn't works it says "REQUEST IN PROGRESS" and i never recieved the message i waitde for an hour and still nothing pliz osmebody help me PLIZ i wanna join the clash tournament, i recieved a message it says my code in it , but in league it still says "REQUEST IN PROGRESS" what should i do?

Same issue, couldn't lock in to team, tried other peoples phone numbers, still had "unexpected error occurred" Prevented me and my team from playing which is completely unfair, still don't know why it happened.
