Mac Client LoL Patcher crashes without fail

I'm a little frustrated right now, I was having a lot of trouble playing on the client, and saw somewhere that updating to 10.10.1 would help with the constant crashes. It didn't, so I just decided to try to uninstall and reinstall. Now I'm stuck at the LoL Patcher download.

Every time it loads to about 87%, LoL Patcher for mac will crash, without fail. I'm wondering if there's some kind of known fix/issue? I spent a while searching and couldn't find anything really relevant. I'd sort of just like to be able to play the game.
