"Game still in progress" but no reconnect button

Yo literally this client is trash, I run into the same problem occasionally. This forces me to restart my computer which takes up to around 3 mins (including loading in the client) and then the team remakes which makes me lose LP (a ton of LP too).

Riot! How are you going to tell me my friend with terrible internet connection issues and has 1000 ping lag spikes every 3 mins in game, can load into games while my client keeps saying "game still in progress" and forcing me to restart when I have perfect internet connection and stable ping throughout all my games. FIX THE CLIENT or bring back the old one.

Open up task manager and end the league task with the square icon and it will allow you to reconnect

I got a ban because of this several times it's not fair to me because I didn't do it on purpose please fix it you have big problems with the game why you dropped tft if you can't create a normal server

Riot needs to make a fix to their client or it will start losing players. I hate losing lp to a bug that should have been hot fixed.

Close client, open Task Manager, end anything that starts with League, restart and relog. Works for me every time so far.

Yeah my game is completely and utterly destroyed. Can't play on any account. I was fine last night until randomly I just couldn't connect whatsoever, it was my last game of the night anyways so figured I'd accept the leaver penalty and go to bed. Woke up and now its a million times worse. Yet somehow the normally buggier PBE client is working perfectly for me

Same problem, very annoing... each time it start happening I just close the game and go away do something else, until the day I will uninstall and let it go for ever

same problem, but what ever i do to reconnect or start a new game LoL keep giving the same message and any action (restart windows, use task manager, change user, clear memory, etc) nothing works. The only solution is to wait for hours or unistall the game
