The entire right side of the client is black. I cannot accept games, see friends or even see my own name. Tried to repair client, and it didn't work. I played a game this morning 1/16 so I'm not sure what's changed in the client other than adding the mecha-kingdom landing page. I can send a screenshot but I am not sure how to embed a picture.

Mine is the same way as well with picture in link. Friend says it shows I'm offline when I'm logged in with this error.

Create a lobby and click on the "plus" buttons .Write the exact name of your friend , press the search button , your friend's name should be marked and then press "send invites" .This works because i have the same issue for the past 4 days and i have been playing with my friends. If you want to use voice , you can't connect at the lobby or the champ select , but you can during the actual game . :)

used hextech thinger and nada. Also tried making a custom game and leaving it because sometimes, lately, after I play a game my friends list will magically reappear. I've never had the whole sidebar blank like this though.

CLSBosco1 votesI had this same problem too, but after uninstalling and reinstalling league, it worked again. Make sure to delete all League of Legends and Riot Games files from your computer before reinstalling though.

PS: Don't use the same installer you used before. Download the new one from the LoL website.

People have said to delete the Riot Client folder in the C drive (or which ever drive letter you have the game installed) but if you are like me, I didn't have that folder. If re-installing the game didn't work for you either, here's why:
If you go to C:\Users"yourwindowsaccountnamehere"\AppData\Roaming\League of Legends - you'll see the much talked about "Riot Client" folder there. Delete the whole folder. Then go to C drive or wherever game is installed and launch the league client, it will update the client to the new one.

If your login screen does not look like this your friends list will not work!!!!
