Login problems

I downloaded League for the first time in a bit and I noticed I couldn't login. I happened to look at my region and all I saw was PBE. When I tried switching it to NA, (the default was brazil for some reason) the window goes black! I have tried updating it, running as an administrator, and even reinstalling about three times. Are servers down or is it something on my end??

I would love some help and and suggestion is appreciated! Thank you in advance!
