Client sometimes crashes during (ranks) champion selects, not only i am having this issues i have talked to other of my friends that are also having the same problem and really getting tilted by losing rank points for no reason and not their fault. This is a continuing issue that has been for 2/1 months now. Hopefully this Discussion can reach out to other that are also having issues as well. Hope you can fix it soon as possible riot. Yeah I have the same/similar issue, go to champion selection and I can't see any champs and therefore can't ban or select, and even if other players ban, I don't see the picture icon appear at the top (though I can chat to them and they all do), so I end up with 20-30 minute queue penalty.
I'm having pretty much the same issue. It's happening a lot more often now... various crashes during champ select. Completely frozen window, then says trying to reconnect to game usually. I have a 15 minute ban wait for games now because of this happening.
Having the same problem..I get to champ select everything is fine until, it goes to the first person to pick a champ and instantly get bugsplat and client closes and tries to "reconnect" which it does cause i can hear the time and when someone picks, but there is nothing but a blue background..I tried doing several fixes and none worked, tried deleting the whole game and reinstalling, also didn't work, I even erased everything off my pc and did a fresh install of windows 10 and installed the game and it's still the same.
