Getting a grey screen instead of the load-in for Mac

I currently am unable to play League at all. I can log into the client, select a game mode, and accept the queue; however, the loading screen for the game is entirely grey. If I click nothing happens, and I am unable to do anything whatsoever until I completely shut down and repower my mac. I tried to do the solution previously suggested within this forum (https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/zyu0f93n-mac-clientloading-in-gray-screen-cant-see-a-thing-but-game-loads-in-just-fine) but it failed again.

If you don't want to click the link, it pretty much is changing the WindowMode=1 or WindowMode=2 to WindowMode=0

Does anyone know how to help? Thanks

I've had a similar problem ever since TFT got patched a week ago. I have unistalled and reinstalled the game about 4 times now. I have also done a repair twice and done the suggestion above to no avail.

I'm having the same problem, can't do anything except manually shut down my computer every time I try to load into a game. I just don't get to see the loading screen anymore. I tried updating my mac and reinstalling League.

I have the exact same problem. I am able to get into champ select and when the client pops up, I get a grey screen since last weeks patch. I can see the mouse on screen but for the rest i can't do anything. I have done the suggested things like windowmode= 2 but it doesn't help.

Is there anyone from the riot team who can help us regarding this bug?

Problem started this evening at random after working fine for 3 games in a row an hour before. The only thing that occurred between the break in sessions was the computer was put to sleep. I have done this numerous times and it had not given me this problem.

PREVIOUS FIX CONFIRMED, What Eurzadahn came across worked for me as well. When the grey screen pops up, just hit Enter (clicking mouse or other input methods that make that certain "error/block" sound) for X amount of times until the game starts up and loads in as it should.
