Bug with entering the game after champ select

Ever since the new patch, about every other game I have, it says I cant be connected to the server. Nothing has changed on my end and it has been running fine until now, I try to reconnect but it fails i log out and log back in it fails I close the game and try to reconnect but my only option is "skip waiting for stats" which puts me back in the home page unable to join a game ( cos I am in one) and just wait for the impending afk timer I don't deserve
